Color Challenge January 25

A new Color Challenge is up at The Outlawz. Are you ready to put together a little Orange, Grey and Cream? We did! Now, let's see what you can come up with.

I made a board book/album for my sister in law. Her birthday is on the same day as my mom's (in February) so I thought I would add a few pics of them together inside it. Hope she likes it : )

Have a great Tuesday and happy creating!

Challenge for CAS at the Outlawz

I made a card for the CAS (Clean and Simple) Challenge over at the Outlawz.

Welcome to the very first CAS challenge!! This week's challenge is a RECIPE!

The Recipe:

1. The color Red

2. 1 Embellishement

3. LOTS of white space (does not have to actually BE white, just empty space on your card!)

Ok, I failed at my first attempt and maybe got it right for the 2nd attempt but ended up hating the card! Don't ask me what I was thinking with those lips : ) LOL!!

Here are my 2 tries at clean and simple. If you think it's easy wait until you try!

I failed because I have too many embellies! I can't help it-I like stuff :)

I failed here just because it's scary and ugly but posted it anyway....go ahead laugh...I can take it!
Hope you try the challenges because they are so incredibly addicting and fun!

Happy Saturday night all.........

Color Challenge at The Outlawz

Good afternoon,

Hopefully you are having a very productive Saturday in your crafty space :) I am, well, in between laundry loads and providing snacks for the kids and getting more and more hot tea for me. Brrrr....it's cold.

Have you made a sample for the Red,White and Pink Color challenge yet? Go check out
The Outlawz and submit your entry. The group (pink circle) challenges post on Tuesdays. You have until the end of the month so don't panic!
Each weekly challenge a color photo is posted as inspiration by the Design Team to help get those creative juices flowing!
Week of January 11
Can't wait to see what comes from this!
Here is a little something I found that I previously made but thought I would add it her for fun anyway. My sample is in my last post-the birthday girl with the red chunky glitter on her party hat!

You can make a card, a scrapbook page or even an altered item but it must be done in the colors specified for each week. You may use other colors but the majority of your project must be the specified colors.

Happy crafting!

Happy New Year!

I would like to share with you exciting news! I am on a new Design Team called the "Outlawz"
I will be designing in the Color Challenge group and would love for you to come check out all the new challenges going on over there.

My first challenge is to use red, white and pink. It's January and I do not want to start with Valentines just yet, so I went with a birthday card instead. My daughter will be turning 9 at the end of the month so I thought it was perfect!

Hope you like it :)
