Custom designed scrapbook albums and hand crafted wooden easels we call F.R.E.D. are just some of the posts you'll read about on For The Luv of Paper. I also share projects on here made by me and my family to hopefully inspire you! Cards, layouts and random DIY projects that happen to move us : ) It's fun to create and use all kinds of mediums to fill our home with keepsakes made together.

Cupcake Card
This is a yummy card I made using a file from the Cutting Cafe. The icing on this cupcake is made out of Flower Soft. Once you use this stuff be prepared to get addicted. It's sooo super easy to use and fun. The cherry on top has diamond glaze on it for the "wet" look. As for the page I made it's not typical I work with a single 12x12 but I just had to play with the polka dot stamp from Stampin' Up. That's the bottom half of the paper. Along the bottom edge I used Making Memories Embossed Elegance paper-dotted swiss in white. I layered assorted buttons on top. It just feels fun to me-like a cheery cupcake. Do you notice the centers of some of my buttons? I squeezed in baby brads! There is even a heart shaped one too! Another hole filler is the waxy flax tied in knots or tucked behind the button. In the center of the layout the paper border strip is punched with the Martha Stewart edger. I am addicted to her punches. The ribbon is from Michaels dollar bin. The red hinges are from Close To My Heart. I am not sure what I will add to this page but I just had so much fun making it.
