Custom designed scrapbook albums and hand crafted wooden easels we call F.R.E.D. are just some of the posts you'll read about on For The Luv of Paper. I also share projects on here made by me and my family to hopefully inspire you! Cards, layouts and random DIY projects that happen to move us : ) It's fun to create and use all kinds of mediums to fill our home with keepsakes made together.

Sun, Sand & Surf
This was a fun card to make! I made this card using my Doodlecharms Cartridge. There is a challenge going on at Bitten by the Bug and I decided to make something too! This is my 1st ever attempt at a challenge. I have watched her site for a looong time but never participated. I am not looking to win but be a part of it. It really is so amazing what people come up with in these challenges. I am just soo inspired by Regina and the designers on her team.
As for the challenge all I had to use was the border feature with any cut and I chose palm trees to make me feel better today. I wish it was warm and sunny here. Soon I hope. Anyway, hope you like my card. Sunny days are ahead.
The paper I used was from DCWV-Nana's Nursery. The palm tree trunk was a piece of scrap textured paper I am almost out and hope I can find more-love it for trees! I added glitter to the tops of the trees for a little sparkly touch. I had those buttons in stash forever so I don't have a clue about that! Card finished size is 5x7
Don't forget to click on the images to supersize them and get a closer look at all the details.
